This book is part of Imam al-Nawawi’s works in which he addresses the issue of letters and sounds from a doctrinal perspective, where he clarifies his opinion on whether they are ancient or recent, and cites evidence to prove the letter and sound to God Almighty, and discusses the ruling on writing the Qur’an in various situations, emphasizing the necessity of glorifying and respecting it.
