هذا الكتاب يبحث في مكانة الرفق بالحيوان في الشريعة الإسلامية، ويؤصل له كمبدأ شرعي وعبادة، مقارنًا ذلك بالقوانين الوضعية التي تأسست متأخرةً على أسس أخلاقية صرفة. يستعرض الكتاب أحكامًا فقهية تحدد حقوق الحيوان، ويحذر من التعسف في استعمال الحقوق كالذبح والركوب والتحميل، معتبرًا الإساءة للحيوان معصية.
Translation
This book examines the status of animal welfare in Islamic law, and establishes it as a legal principle and worship, comparing this to man-made laws that were established late on purely moral foundations. The book reviews jurisprudential rulings that define animal rights, and warns against abuse of rights such as slaughter, riding, and loading, considering animal abuse a sin.
