Translation
This is a book explaining the ruling on building polytheistic churches and temples in Muslim countries. Its author collected evidence from the Prophet’s hadiths, monuments, and texts of the four schools of thought, declaring that this is prohibited and that what was created of them must be demolished, while singling out the Arabian Peninsula for a more severe ruling. The book concluded with two letters by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim, and comes in response to what was published in some newspapers regarding the permissibility of establishing churches in Islamic countries.
