هذا الكتاب بحثٌ في مشكلة السرف في المجتمع المسلم، يبدأ بتأصيل مفهوم السرف وتمييزه عن المصطلحات ذات الصلة كالتبذير والترف والاقتصاد، ثم يستعرض نصوص السرف في القرآن والسنة وكلام العلماء. يتناول الكتاب أقسام السرف ومجالاته المختلفة، ويختتم ببيان آثاره السلبية الدينية والنفسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبدنية، وذلك كله في ضوء الإسلام.
Translation
This book is an investigation into the problem of extravagance in Muslim society. It begins by establishing the concept of extravagance and distinguishing it from related terms such as extravagance, luxury, and economics. Then, it reviews the texts of extravagance in the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the words of scholars. The book deals with the various sections and fields of extravagance, and concludes with an explanation of its negative religious, psychological, social, economic and physical effects, all in the light of Islam.
