تاريخ المستبصر هو كتاب جغرافي ألفه المؤرخ ابن المجاور (601 هـ - 690 هـ)، تحدث المؤلف في كتابه عن وصف بلاد اليمن ومكة والحجاز ، وابتدأ بالكلام عن مكة المكرمة ثم انتهى بالبحرين , اطلع فيه على الأدلة الملاحية المشهورة ، وتعرف على علوم الملاحة القديمة التي تصف خطوط الملاحة وأطوالها بين بلاد العرب الجنوبية وجزيرة جاوة , خصص جزء من كتابه لوصف مدينتي عدن وجدة. يُعتقد أن ابن المجاور ألف كتابه المستبصر قبل عام 1233 م.

Translation

The History of the Clairvoyant is a geographical book written by the historian Ibn al-Mujawar (601 AH - 690 AH). In his book, the author spoke about describing the countries of Yemen, Mecca, and the Hijaz. He began by talking about Mecca and then ended with Bahrain. In it, he reviewed the famous navigational guides and learned about ancient navigational sciences that describe navigation lines and their lengths between southern Arabia and the island of Java. He devoted part of his book to describing the cities of Aden and Jeddah. It is believed that Ibn al-Mujawar wrote his book Al-Mustabsir before 1233 AD.
