التبصرة بالتجارة في وصف ما يستظرف في البلدان من الأمتعة الرفيعة والأعلاق النفيسة والجواهر الثمينة هو كتاب من تأليف الجاحظ يسرد فيه أنواع الاحجار والمجوهرات من أسمائها وكيفية التمييز بين الحقيقي والزائف منها؛ وينتقل منها إلى الملبس والثياب؛ كما ذكر البلدان التي كان يجلب منها الأقمشة والمجوهرات وما كانت تتميز به كل دولة في إنتاجها فتصدره وما كانت كل دولة تستورده.

Insight into Trade in Describing the Fine Luggage, Precious Jewels, and Precious Jewels Exported in Countries is a book written by Al-Jahiz in which he lists the types of stones and jewelry, including their names, and how to distinguish between the real ones and the fake ones. It is transferred from it to clothes and apparel. He also mentioned the countries from which he brought fabrics and jewelry, what distinguished each country in its production and exported it, and what each country imported.
