هذا الكتاب هو فهرسٌ لأسماء الكتب، ألّفه المؤلف ليكون مُتمّماً لكتاب "كشف الظنون" في حصر عناوين المصنفات. يبدأ بمقدمة يسرد فيها ظروف تأليفه، ثم يورد أسماء الكتب مرتبةً على حروف المعجم من الألف إلى الياء، مع ذكر مؤلفيها وبعض التفاصيل عنهم وعن مصنفاتهم. يندرج الكتاب ضمن تصنيف فهارس الكتب والأدلة، ويُعنى بجمع أسماء المؤلفات في مختلف العلوم والفنون.
Translation
This book is an index of the names of books, written by the author to complement the book “Kashf al-Dunun” in listing the titles of works. It begins with an introduction in which it lists the circumstances of its writing, then lists the names of the books in alphabetical order from A to Z, mentioning their authors and some details about them and their works. The book falls within the classification of book indexes and guides, and is concerned with collecting the names of works in various sciences and arts.
