This is a book concerned with studying the curriculum of Ibn Malik’s Alfiyyah and its explanations. It is one of the books of indexes and evidence known for the famous grammatical system and its author. The book begins with a brief translation of Ibn Malik, discussing his upbringing, scientific journeys, and writings, with a focus on the most prominent of them, which is “the compendium,” known as the Alfiyya. He describes it as a scientific educational system that was summarized from “Al-Kafiyya al-Shafi’a” and in which a summary of grammar and most of the topics of morphology were collected.
