About this work

كتاب "الاختيار لتعليل المختار" هو مختصر في الفقه على مذهب الإمام أبي حنيفة، جمعه المؤلف استجابة لطلب من وجبت إجابته، واقتصر فيه على مذهب الإمام وأفتى به. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة للمؤلف ثم يتناول كتاب الطهارة بشمول أحكام الوضوء والغسل والتيمم والمسح على الخفين والحيض والأنجاس، يليه كتاب الصلاة الذي يشمل تعريف الصلاة وأوقاتها والأذان والإقامة وأفعال الصلاة وصلاة الوتر.

Translation

The book “Al-Ikhtiyar li’lil Al-Mukhtar” is a summary of jurisprudence based on the doctrine of Imam Abu Hanifa. It was compiled by the author in response to a request from those who had to answer it, and he limited it to the doctrine of the Imam and issued a fatwa based on it. The book begins with an introduction by the author, then deals with the book of purity, including the provisions of ablution, washing, tayammum, wiping over the socks, menstruation, and impurity, followed by the book of prayer, which includes the definition of prayer, its times, the call to prayer, the iqama, the actions of prayer, and the Witr prayer.
