كتاب "الحجة على أهل المدينة" لمحمد بن الحسن الشيباني هو مصنف فقهي على المذهب الحنفي، يعرض آراء فقهاء الكوفة ويرد بها على آراء فقهاء المدينة في مسائل العبادات. يبدأ الكتاب بمناقشة وقت صلاة الفجر، ثم يتناول بالتفصيل أبواب الطهارة والصلاة كالوضوء والتيمم والمسح على الخفين، وصولاً إلى أحكام السهو والنسيان في الصلاة.

Translation

The book “The Proof for the People of Medina” by Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Shaybani is a jurisprudential work based on the Hanafi school of thought. It presents the opinions of the jurists of Kufa and responds with them to the opinions of the jurists of Medina on matters of worship. The book begins with a discussion of the time of dawn prayer, then deals in detail with the chapters of purity and prayer, such as ablution, tayammum, and wiping over the socks, leading to the rulings on oversight and forgetfulness in prayer.
