المبسوط هو كتاب في الفقه على المذهب الحنفي من تأليف شمس الأئمة السرخسي (ت: 483هـ) وقد أملاه الإمام السرخسي على تلاميذه من ذاكرته وهو سجين بالجب (في بئر) في أوزجند (بفرغانة) وكان سبب سجنه كلمة نصح بها الخاقان. يعتبر هذا الكتاب موسوعة فقهية شاملة في الفقه المقارن بين مذهبي الإمامين أبي حنيفة والشافعي، مضافاً إليهما أحياناً مذهب الإمام مالك، وذلك في المسائل الخلافية بينهما ومناقشتها والتعقيب عليها، فضلاً عن كونِه من أمهات كتب الفقه الحنفي المعتمدة في الفتوى. …

Translation

Al-Mabsut is a book on jurisprudence according to the Hanafi school of thought, written by Shams al-Imam al-Sarkhasi (d. 483 AH). Imam al-Sarkhasi dictated it to his students from memory while he was imprisoned in the well (in a well) in Uzjand (Ferghana). The reason for his imprisonment was a word advised by the Khaqan. This book is considered a comprehensive jurisprudential encyclopedia in comparative jurisprudence between the doctrines of the two Imams Abu Hanifa and Al-Shafi’i, in addition to them sometimes the doctrine of Imam Malik, in the controversial issues between them, discussing them and commenting on them, in addition to being one of the most important books of Hanafi jurisprudence approved in fatwas. …
