The book “Al-Muhit Al-Burhani fi Al-No’mani Jurisprudence” is a jurisprudential encyclopedia based on the doctrine of Imam Abu Hanifa, written by Mahmoud bin Mazza Al-Bukhari. The book begins with an introduction by the author in which he explains the virtue of knowledge and jurisprudence, then he begins the chapters of jurisprudence, beginning with the Book of Purifications, which deals with the provisions of ablution, washing, tayammum, wiping over the socks, impurities, menstruation, and postpartum, followed by the Book of Prayer, which details the timings, obligatory duties, sunnahs, how to pray, and the rulings on reading and leading the prayer.
