Translation

The book “Al-Hidaya fi Sharh Bidayat al-Mubtadi” by Al-Marginani is an extensive explanation of jurisprudence according to the Hanafi school of thought. Its author aims to combine narration and knowledge while avoiding redundancy. The book begins with an introduction to the virtue of knowledge, then deals with the chapters of purity and prayer in detail, explaining the provisions of ablution, washing, tayammum, wiping over the socks, and menstruation, as well as the times, conditions, and characteristics of prayer, leading the prayer, and what invalidates it.
