حاشية ابن عابدين (رد المحتار على الدر المختار) كتاب عبارة عن حاشية وموسوعة فقهية شاملة في فقه الإمام أبي حنيفة النعمان وهي على شرح العلامة علاء الدين الحصكفي على كتاب تنوير الأبصار للشيخ شمس الدين التمرتاشي الغزي الحنفي، وقد شرحه ابن عابدين شرحاً وافياً، تطرق فيه إلى شرح المفردات اللغوية، وجاء بالأدلة الشرعية من الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية وفصل آراء أصحاب المذهب وأقوالهم، والمعتمد في المذهب والظاهر فيه، كما أنه يأتي في بعض الأحيان على آراء المذاهب الباقية مع تحقيق لموضع الخلاف وتحرير المسائل، ولذا تعد هذه الحاشية من أفضل ما كتبه المتأخرون في فروع الحنفية. …

Hashiyat Ibn Abidin (The Response of the Confused to al-Durr al-Mukhtar) is a book that is a footnote and a comprehensive jurisprudential encyclopedia on the jurisprudence of Imam Abu Hanifa al-Numan, and it is based on the explanation of the scholar Alaa al-Din al-Hasakfi on the book Tanwir al-Absar by Sheikh Shams al-Din al-Tamirashi al-Ghazi al-Hanafi. Ibn Abidin explained it comprehensively, in which he addressed the explanation of linguistic vocabulary, and provided legal evidence from Qur’anic verses and prophetic hadiths and a chapter on The opinions and sayings of the people of the school of thought, and what is relied upon in the school of thought and what is apparent in it. It also sometimes includes the opinions of the remaining schools of thought, with an investigation of the area of disagreement and the editing of the issues. Therefore, this footnote is considered one of the best written by the later scholars in the branches of the Hanafi school of thought. …
