كتاب "إرشاد السالك إلى أشرف المسالك" هو متن مختصر في الفقه على مذهب الإمام مالك، يهدف إلى جمع الأحكام الفقهية بأسلوب موجز مع الاستيعاب لكثير من المسائل التي لا توجد إلا في المطولات. يسير المؤلف في هذا الكتاب على طريقة مالكية العراق، مما يجعله يتضمن آراءً فقهية قد تخالف المشهور عند غيرهم من مالكية الأقطار الأخرى، سواء كانت هذه الآراء قوية مؤيدة بالدليل أو ضعيفة لا سند لها. يبدأ الكتاب بكتاب الطهارة متناولاً فروض الوضوء ونواقضه والغسل والتيمم والحيض، ثم ينتقل إلى كتاب الصلاة ليشمل الأذان وأركان الصلاة والجماعة وسجود السهو وسجود التلاوة.

Translation

The book “Irshad al-Salik ila Ashraf al-Masalik” is a brief text on jurisprudence based on the doctrine of Imam Malik. It aims to collect jurisprudential rulings in a concise manner while accommodating many issues that are only found in lengthy books. In this book, the author follows the method of the Malikis of Iraq, which makes it include jurisprudential opinions that may contradict what is known among other Malikis in other countries, whether these opinions are strong and supported by evidence or weak and have no support. The book begins with the Book of Purity, covering the obligations and invalidations of ablution, washing, tayammum, and menstruation. Then it moves to the Book of Prayer to include the call to prayer, the pillars of prayer, the congregational prayer, the prostration of forgetfulness, and the prostration of recitation.
