Al-Kafi fi jurisprudence of the people of Medina Al-Maliki is a book of brief Maliki jurisprudence, written by Al-Hafiz Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdul-Barr Al-Nimri Al-Qurtubi Abu Omar (368 AH - 463 AH). It is one of the most prominent books of jurisprudence and therefore it is widely circulated among students of knowledge, as it is an important source in the jurisprudence of the people of Medina Al-Maliki. The author collects in Al-Kafi the issues that are foundations and mothers of the branches and proofs on which he builds on the benefits of rulings and the knowledge of what is permissible and what is forbidden. It is comprehensive, polite, sufficient, close, concise, and classified by which one can remember when busy and boredom.
