كتاب "الجوع" لابن أبي الدنيا هو مجموعة من الأحاديث النبوية والآثار المروية عن الصحابة والتابعين والصالحين، تتناول موضوع فضيلة الجوع والاقتصاد في الطعام، والتحذير من ملء البطن، مستشهدةً بأقوال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وخبرات السلف في الزهد والتقشف.
Translation
The book “Hunger” by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya is a collection of prophetic hadiths and narrations narrated on the authority of the Companions, followers and righteous people. It deals with the topic of the virtue of hunger and frugality in food, and the warning against filling the stomach, citing the sayings of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the experiences of the predecessors in asceticism and austerity.
