كتاب "العقل وفضله" لابن أبي الدنيا هو مؤلف في فضل العقل ومكانته في الإسلام، يجمع أحاديث وآثارًا تتناول صفات العاقل وثوابه، وعلاقة العقل بالإيمان والعمل والجزاء في الآخرة. ينتظم الكتاب في أبواب متعددة تبرز أن العقل من أعظم نعم الله بعد الإيمان، وأن الناس يتفاضلون به، وأن العاقل هو من يغلب حلمه جهله ويعقل أمر ربه.
Translation
The book “The Mind and Its Virtue” by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya is a book on the virtue of the mind and its place in Islam. It collects hadiths and hadiths that deal with the qualities and reward of the mind, and the relationship of the mind with faith, work, and reward in the afterlife. The book is organized into multiple sections that highlight that reason is one of God’s greatest blessings after faith, and that people excel in it, and that the rational person is the one whose dream overcomes his ignorance and understands the command of his Lord.
