هذا الكتاب هو قصيدة طويلة من نظم ابن القيم، تُعرف بـ "النونية" أو "الكافية الشافية"، وقد خصصها للحديث عن مسألة كلام الله تعالى وصفاته، والرد على الفرق المخالفة في ذلك كالجهمية والمعتزلة والفلاسفة. ينتظم الكتاب في فصول متعددة تناقش أدلة الفرق المختلفة حول القرآن وصفة الكلام، مع التركيز على إثبات علو الله على عرشه وبيان منهج أهل السنة في النصوص الشرعية.

Translation

This book is a long poem composed by Ibn al-Qayyim, known as “Al-Nuniya” or “Al-Kafiyyah Al-Shafi’ah.” He devoted it to talking about the issue of the word of God Almighty and His attributes, and responding to the groups that disagree with that, such as the Jahmiyah, the Mu’tazilites, and the philosophers. The book is organized into multiple chapters that discuss the evidence of the various sects about the Qur’an and the description of speech, with a focus on proving the supremacy of God above His throne and explaining the approach of the Sunnis in the legal texts.
