The book “Jihad” by Ibn Abi Asim is a book of hadith texts, collecting prophetic hadiths related to the virtues and rulings of jihad. The book begins by mentioning the hadiths that encourage and desire jihad, such as the fact that jihad is the pinnacle of the hump of Islam, the fact that the mujahid is a guarantor of God, the virtue of morning and evening in the path of God, spending on it, and preparing the invader. The book deals with various topics, such as patience when meeting the enemy, the virtue of those whose feet are dusty in the path of God, the virtue of shooting an arrow, fasting in the path of God, wounds and speech, and the issue of martyrs and those who deserve the name of martyrdom.
