Purification by Al-Qasim bin Salam

A book on the texts of hadith, in which Abu Ubaid al-Qasim bin Salam collected hadiths and traces related to the rulings on purity and water. The book begins by mentioning the virtues of purification and ablution, then deals in detail with the Sunnahs of ablution, the number of times it is performed, and the amounts of water in it. It goes over the rulings on water, its impurity, the prohibition of various animals, and the licenses and prohibitions related to that, based on the Prophet’s hadiths and narrations.
