The book “The Dictionary by Ibn al-Muqri” is a compilation of hadith texts. It collects attested prophetic hadiths arranged according to the letters of the dictionary according to the names of the author’s sheikhs and narrators, starting with the chapter Alif, with someone named Ahmad, then Ibrahim, and so on. The book includes narrations with connected chains of transmission, which the author opens with the hadith “Actions are but by intentions” and other hadiths, to serve as a reference in the narration of the Sunnah of the Prophet in lexical order.
