The book “Al-Maqsad Al-Ali fi Zawa’id Abu Ya’la Al-Mawsili” is a book on the texts of hadith, compiled by Nour Al-Din Al-Haythami from the Musnad of Imam Abu Ya’la Al-Mawsili, extracting what is in it from hadiths in addition to what is in the six books, either by completing the hadith or adding to it. The author has arranged these additions to the chapters of jurisprudence, beginning with the Book of Faith and the Book of Knowledge, to make it easy to discover them and benefit from them.
