The book “Deeds of the Day and the Night” by Ibn al-Sunni is a compilation of hadith texts, collecting prophetic hadiths and traces related to the remembrances and deeds of the day and the night, starting with waking up from sleep, putting on a garment, entering the toilet, and performing ablution, all the way to the conditions of prayer and the call to prayer. The book aims to guide the Muslim towards preserving his tongue and preoccupying himself with the remembrance of God Almighty, by narrating the sayings and deeds of the Prophet on various daily occasions.
