Translation

Interesting in reading and seeking knowledge by Ali Al-Omran is a literary treatise concerned with urging the reader to seek knowledge and reading. It reviews the honor of knowledge and its place in the Islamic heritage and shows the reasons for students’ retreat from reading and the impact of reality on that. The book covers examples from the biographies of scholars and science enthusiasts, and is based on the sayings of the predecessors and Qur’anic references to emphasize the importance of increasing knowledge. It is classified as rituals, etiquette, and remembrance, which highlights its moral and linguistic character in directing people toward cognitive expansion.
