عيون الأثر هو مصنف في السيرة النبوية، صنفه الحافظ فتح الدين محمد بن محمد ابن سيد الناس اليعمري الأندلسي، وهو من أهم مصنفاته وأشهرها، إذ حظي بالقبول وأثنى عليه العلماء من بعده، فممن أثنوا عليه، الإمام تاج الدين السبكي (ت 771 هـ) بقوله «وصنف الشيخ فتح الدين كتاباً في المغازي والسِّير سماه عيون الأثر، أحسن فيه ما شاء»، ووصفه ابن كثير (ت 774 هـ) بقوله: «وقد جمع سيرة حسنة في مجلدين»، ووصفه الإمام الحافظ ابن حجر (ت 852 هـ)، بقوله: «وصنف في السيرة كتابه المسمى عيون الأثر وهو كتاب جيد في بابه»، وقال عنه الإمام الشوكاني (ت 1250 هـ) «له تصانيف منها السيرة النبوية المشهورة، التي انتفع بها الناس من أهل عص …

Translation

Uyun al-Athar is a work on the biography of the Prophet. It was compiled by al-Hafiz Fath al-Din Muhammad bin Muhammad Ibn Sayyid al-Nas al-Yamari al-Andalusi, and it is one of his most important and famous works. It was accepted and praised by scholars after him. Among those who praised it was Imam Taj al-Din al-Subki (d. 771 AH) when he said, “Sheikh Fath al-Din wrote a book on battles and biographies called Uyun al-Athar, and he did well in it as he wished.” Ibn Katheer (d. 771 AH) described it as good. 774 AH) by saying: “He collected a good biography in two volumes,” and Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (d. 852 AH) described him by saying: “He compiled his book called ‘Uyun al-Athar’ on the biography, which is a good book in its field.” Imam Al-Shawkani (d. 1250 AH) said about him, “He has collections, including the famous biography of the Prophet, which people from the people of the era benefited from...
