This book, “Bodley’s Allegations, Errors, Contradictions, and Suspicions in His Book The Messenger, the Life of Muhammad, a Critical Study,” is a critical investigation by its author, Mahdi bin Rizq Allah Ahmad, as it aims to criticize and analyze the British orientalist Bodley’s book, “The Messenger, the Life of Muhammad,” and to identify his claims, errors, contradictions, and doubts in his book. The book covers a range of topics, including questioning revelation, the influences of Judaism and Christianity on Islam, falsifying historical facts in the biography of some of the Companions, questioning the innocence of some of them from the Ifk, and claiming that some of them were pagans. The book shows that Bodley was a Christian Orientalist, and is believed to have been carrying out Christianizing colonial intelligence missions for the British Crown.
