كتاب «وجاء النبي المنتظر» للكاتب عبد الوهاب بن طويلة يندرج ضمن سيرة الأنبياء وشمائلهم. يعرض المؤلف من خلاله شروط صحة الكتاب المقدس لدى النصارى ثم يتناول بشارات موسى وعيسى التي تُظهر توقعهم لظهور النبي محمد. كما يختتم الكتاب بذكر بقايا أهل الكتاب الذين ينتظرون قدوم النبي، مستنداً إلى نصوص قرآنية وإشارات من الكتب السابقة.
Translation
The book “And the Awaited Prophet Came” by the writer Abdul Wahhab bin Tawila falls within the biography of the prophets and their honorable mentions. Through it, the author presents the conditions for the authenticity of the Holy Bible among Christians and then deals with the glad tidings of Moses and Jesus, which show their expectation of the appearance of the Prophet Muhammad. The book also concludes by mentioning the remnants of the People of the Book who await the coming of the Prophet, based on Qur’anic texts and references from previous books.
