بدائع السلك في طبائع الملك هو كتاب لابن الأزرق (توفي 896 هـ) عن السياسة والملك والإمارة. ويبدأ الكتاب بمقدمتين عن النظر في مسألة الملك من الناحيتين العقلية والشرعية. ثم يقسم الكتاب إلى أربعة كتب. وفي النسخة المطبوعة قُسم الكتاب إلى جزءين. اكتسب الكتاب أهمية كبيرة في الدراسات الحديثة للفكر السياسي الإسلامي، لأنه يمثل مرحلة متقدمة من تطور هذا الفكر، ويعكس محاولة لربط السياسة بعلم الاجتماع والعمران. لذلك يُنظر إلى الكتاب بوصفه حلقة مهمة في سلسلة المؤلفات التي تناولت فلسفة الحكم في الحضارة الإسلامية.
Translation
Bada'i' al-Salak fi Natures of Mulk is a book by Ibn al-Azraq (died 896 AH) about politics, kingship, and the emirate. The book begins with two introductions on examining the issue of kingship from both a rational and legal perspective. The book is then divided into four books. In the printed version, the book is divided into two parts. The book has gained great importance in modern studies of Islamic political thought, because it represents an advanced stage in the development of this thought, and reflects an attempt to link politics with sociology and urbanism. Therefore, the book is viewed as an important link in the series of works that dealt with the philosophy of government in Islamic civilization.
