هذا الكتاب هو شرح لمجموعة الأحاديث المعروفة بـ "الأربعين النووية" للإمام النووي، يقدمه المؤلف عطية سالم. يبدأ الشرح بتقديم نبذة عن الإمام النووي ومكانته العلمية، وسبب تأليفه لهذه المجموعة وتسميتها، ثم يتناول شرح الأحاديث واحدًا تلو الآخر، مبتدئًا بحديث "إنما الأعمال بالنيات" مع تفصيل في مسائل النية وأقسام العمل وأثرها في العبادات والمعاملات، وصولًا إلى شرح حديث جبريل عليه السلام. يندرج الكتاب ضمن تصنيف شروح الحديث، ويتناول شرح الأحاديث النبوية وتحليل معانيها وفق المنهج العلمي.

Translation

This book is an explanation of the collection of hadiths known as “The Forty Nawawi” by Imam al-Nawawi, presented by the author Atiya Salem. The explanation begins by presenting an overview of Imam al-Nawawi and his scholarly standing, and the reason for his writing and naming this collection. Then, he addresses the explanation of the hadiths one by one, beginning with the hadith, “Actions are but by intentions,” with detail on the issues of intention, the categories of action, and their impact on acts of worship and transactions, leading to an explanation of the hadith of Gabriel, peace be upon him. The book falls within the classification of hadith explanations, and deals with explaining the Prophetic hadiths and analyzing their meanings according to the scientific method.
