كتاب "عون المعبود شرح سنن أبي داود" هو شرح موسوعي لسنن أبي داود، أحد كتب الحديث الستة، يشرح أحاديثه بابًا بابًا مع عناية بضبط الألفاظ وبيان معانيها اللغوية والفقهية، ويضم حاشية لابن القيم. يبدأ الكتاب بكتاب الطهارة، متناولًا أحكام التخلي والاستنجاء والوضوء وغيرها من مسائل الفقه الإسلامي المستنبطة من الأحاديث النبوية.

Translation

The book “Awn al-Ma’boud Sharh Sunan Abi Dawud” is an encyclopedic explanation of Sunan Abi Dawud, one of the six books of hadith. It explains its hadiths chapter by chapter with attention to controlling words and explaining their linguistic and jurisprudential meanings. It includes a footnote by Ibn al-Qayyim. The book begins with the Book of Purity, covering the provisions of renunciation, cleansing, ablution, and other issues of Islamic jurisprudence derived from the hadiths of the Prophet.
