The book “The Whiff of Rihanna and the Splatter of Bar Paint” by the author Al-Muhibbi is a tragic and applied reference that specializes in mentioning the virtues and personalities of the poets of Damascus and its environs, and arranges them according to lineages and famous families in literature. The book includes chapters in which the names of poets and authors from prominent houses are listed, with references to their peers and relatives, which shows the network of literary relations in that region.
