هذا الكتاب للعلامة ابن حجر العسقلاني، وهو موسوعة في التراجم والطبقات تناول فيه رواة كتاب الآثار للإمام الشيباني. يتناول المؤلف في هذا العمل تراجم الرواة مرتبة حسب حروف المعجم، ثم يفصل في الكنى والمجهولين، ويذكر ما يمكن الوصول إليه من معلومات عن كل راوٍ، سواء كان من رجال التهذيب أو غيرهم. وقد اقتصر المؤلف على الإيجاز والإختصار في ذكر ما يدل على مدح أوقدح، مع تضمينه لكل من ورد ذكره في كتاب الآثار سواء كان مسمى أم غير مسمى.

Translation

This book is by the scholar Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, and it is an encyclopedia of biographies and classes in which the narrators of the book Al-Athar by Imam Al-Shaybani dealt with it. In this work, the author deals with the biographies of narrators arranged according to the letters of the dictionary, then he details the nicknames and the unknown ones, and mentions the information that can be reached about each narrator, whether he is one of the men of refinement or others. The author limited himself to being brief and concise in mentioning what indicates praise or slander, while including everyone mentioned in the Book of Antiquities, whether named or unnamed.
