المدلسين» لولي الدين بن العراقي هو كتاب من نوع التراجم والطبقات يختص بتجميع أسماء من يُتهمون بالتدليس في علم الحديث، مرتبةً حسب حروف المعجم لتسهيل الرجوع إليها. يضم الكتاب فصولاً تبدأ بحرف كل اسم، ويذكر فيها ما ذكره علماء الحديث من إسناد أو نقد لهذا الشخص، مع الإشارة إلى مصادرهم. يهدف المؤلف إلى توثيق ما ورد عن هؤلاء المدلسين وفق منهج علمي معتمد في تصنيف وتقييم رواة الحديث.
Translation
Al-Mudallasin by Wali al-Din bin al-Iraqi is a book of the type of biographies and classes that specializes in collecting the names of those accused of fraud in the science of hadith, arranged according to the letters of the dictionary for easy reference. The book includes chapters that begin with the letter of each name, and mentions what hadith scholars mentioned in terms of chain of transmission or criticism of this person, with reference to their sources. The author aims to document what was reported about these commentators according to an approved scientific method in classifying and evaluating hadith narrators.
