The book provides a comprehensive overview of the lives of notables and lineages in Egypt, based on multiple historical sources and relying on the documentation method that was prevalent among Ibn Yunus al-Sadfi. This work is part of a group of lost historical books that have been revived and rearranged to bring the text closer to its original state.
