Translation

The book Jami’ al-Tahseel fi Ahkam al-Marsail, by the scholar Salah al-Din al-Ala’i, deals with the subject of the Mursal hadith and discusses its rulings and the doctrines of the scholars regarding it. The book is divided into several sections that begin with defining the mursal hadith and distinguishing it from other types of hadiths. Then it moves on to discussing the opinions of scholars regarding its acceptance and the validity of inferring it. It reviews the evidence indicating those opinions, and concludes by detailing the hidden messages sent according to the letters of the alphabet.
