كتاب الضعفاء الصغير للبخاري ت أبي العينين هو مؤلف في مجال التراجم والطبقات يختص بدراسة الرواة الضعفاء الذين لم يذكرهم البخاري أو ابن أبي حاتم في جرحهم. يعتمد المؤلف على منهجية اعتبار صمتهما عن الراوي توثيقاً له، مستنداً إلى أقوال العلماء الذين رأوا أن الصمت لا يعني التجاهل بل يثبت صحة الحديث إذا خلو من العلل. يتضمن الكتاب فصولاً مرتبة أبجدياً تبدأ بأحرف الألف إلى الحاء وتضم مقدمات توضح الإطار النظري للموضوع.
