معجم شيوخ الطبري هو عمل تراجي وتطبقي يختص بتجميع وتعريف شيوخ الإمام الطبري الذين روى عنهم في مؤلفاته الأربعة، ويضم منهجاً للبحث والتأليف يتضمن التبويب والترقيم وتعريف الراوي ومعاجم شيوخه وتلاميذه وتفاصيل التعديل والتجريح والعزو والتمييز والرموز والفهارس وخلاصة البحث. يقدّم الكتاب فهماً منظماً للرويات الواردة في تفسير الطبري، وتاريخه، وتهذيب الآثار، وصريح السنة، مع إشارة إلى أعداد هائلة من الروايات التي تم عزوها إلى رواةها. يرافقه مقدمات من عدد من العلماء المتخصصين في الحديث والعلوم الإسلامية، إضافة إلى شكر وتقدير للجهات التي ساهمت في إعداد هذا المعجم.
Translation
The Dictionary of the Sheikhs of al-Tabari is a tragic and applied work that specializes in compiling and defining the sheikhs of Imam al-Tabari from whom he narrated in his four books. It includes a method for research and writing that includes tabulation, numbering, definition of the narrator, dictionaries of his sheikhs and students, details of modification, defamation, attribution, distinction, symbols, indexes, and a summary of the research. The book provides a systematic understanding of the narrations contained in al-Tabari’s interpretation, its history, Tahdheeb al-Athar, and Sareh al-Sunnah, with reference to the vast numbers of narrations that have been attributed to their narrators. It is accompanied by introductions from a number of scholars specializing in Hadith and Islamic sciences, in addition to thanks and appreciation to the parties that contributed to the preparation of this dictionary.
