Translation

The book “Consideration” by Osama bin Munqidh narrates his autobiography during the period of his military and political rule, speaking about his participation in the wars against the Franks, his travels between Egypt and Damascus, and his conflicts with the rulers and ministers. The book also deals with important historical events such as army revolts and assassinations of princes, with a focus on Osama's role in those events and his positions on them. It is considered an important document for learning about the political and military conditions in the Umayyad era in the Levant and Egypt.
