الحاوي في الطب يعتبر من أكثر كتب أبو بكر الرازي أهمية وقد وصف بأنه موسوعة عظيمة في الطب تحتوي على ملخصات كثيرة من مؤلفين إغريق وهنود إضافة إلى ملاحظاته الدقيقة وتجاربه الخاصة وقد ترجم الحاوي من اللغة العربية إلى اللغة اللاتينية وطبع لأول مرة في بريشيا في شمال إيطاليا عام 1486 وقد أعيد طبعه مرارا في البندقية في القرن السادس عشر الميلادي وتتضح مهارة الرازي في هذا المؤلف الضخم ويكاد يجمع مؤرخو الرازي بأنه لم يتم الكتاب بنفسه ولكن تلاميذه هم الذين أكملوه.

Translation

Al-Hawi on Medicine is considered one of the most important books of Abu Bakr al-Razi. It has been described as a great encyclopedia of medicine that contains many summaries from Greek and Indian authors, in addition to his precise observations and his own experiences. Al-Hawi was translated from Arabic into Latin and printed for the first time in Brescia in northern Italy in 1486. It was reprinted several times in Venice in the sixteenth century AD. Al-Razi’s skill is evident in this huge work. Al-Razi’s historians almost unanimously agree that the book was not written by himself, but by his students. who completed it.
