هذا الكتاب هو اختصار لكتاب "علوم الحديث" لابن الصلاح، قام به الحافظ ابن كثير، ويُعرف أيضًا باسم "الباعث الحثيث إلى اختصار علوم الحديث". يندرج الكتاب ضمن تصنيف علوم الحديث، ويتناول أنواع الحديث النبوي من حيث القبول والرد، مبتدئًا بالحديث الصحيح ثم الحسن فالضعيف، مع ذكر تعريفاتها وأقسامها وأشهر المصنفات فيها، وذلك بأسلوب موجز.

Translation

This book is an abbreviation of the book “Ulum al-Hadith” by Ibn al-Salah, compiled by al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer, and is also known as “Al-Ba’id al-Hathith ila Akhtar Ulum al-Hadith.” The book falls within the classification of hadith sciences, and deals with the types of prophetic hadith in terms of acceptance and rejection, starting with the authentic hadith, then the good, then the weak, mentioning their definitions, sections, and the most famous works in them, in a brief manner.
