الإلماع إلى معرفة أصول الرواية وتقييد السماع. كتاب في علوم الحديث ألفه القاضي عياض بعد كتاب (الكفاية في علم الرواية) و(الجامع لأخلاق الراوي وآداب السامع) للخطيب البغدادي. وضح المؤلف في الكتاب أصول رواية الأحاديث وتقييد السماع. يقول المؤلف: فأول فصوله معرفة أدب الطلب والأخذ والسماع، ثم معرفة علم ذلك ووجوهه وعمن يؤخذ، ثم الإتقان والتقييد، ثم الحفظ والوعي، ثم التمييز والنقد بمعرفة صحيحه وسقيمه وحسنه ومقبوله ومتروكه وموضوعه وغير ذلك.
Translation
Gaining knowledge of the origins of the narration and restricting listening. A book on the sciences of hadith written by Judge Ayyad after the book (Al-Kifaya fi Ilm Al-Rawaa’) and (Al-Jami’ Li Al-Khatil Al-Rayyah wa Al-Khatib Al-Hearer) by Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi. In the book, the author explained the principles of narrating hadiths and restricting hearing. The author says: Its first chapter is knowing the etiquette of asking, taking, and listening, then knowing the science of that and its aspects and from whom it is taken, then mastery and restriction, then memorization and awareness, then discrimination and criticism by knowing what is correct, incorrect, good, acceptable, abandoned, fabricated, and so on.
