This is a book on the sciences of hadith. Al-Suyuti compiled it and made it a nice, brief part of the book “Taqrīb al-Mahḥb bi tiḥār al-Mudarūr” by Ibn Hajar, while limiting it to mentioning “Madarj al-Matn” and not “Madarj al-Isnad,” and adding important additions to it from the stages of texts. The book aims to distinguish the words of the narrators included in the text of the Prophet’s hadith from the words of the prophecy itself, based on what hadith critics have written in their works.
