هذا كتاب في علوم الحديث، يبحث في جهود المحدثين في الكشف عن العلل الخفية التي تقدح في صحة الأحاديث النبوية. يبدأ بتعريف علم العلل لغة واصطلاحاً، ويبين أهميته وشرفه، ثم يستعرض أبرز أئمة هذا الفن ومصنفاتهم فيه، ويختتم بأمثلة تطبيقية توضح دقة النقاد في تعليل الأحاديث.
Translation
This is a book on Hadith sciences, examining the efforts of hadith scholars to reveal the hidden reasons that undermine the authenticity of the Prophet’s hadiths. It begins by defining the science of ills linguistically and terminologically, and explains its importance and honor. Then it reviews the most prominent imams of this art and their works in it, and concludes with applied examples that illustrate the accuracy of critics in explaining hadiths.
