هذا الكتاب هو رسالة علمية للإمام الحافظ عبد العظيم المنذري، كتبها جوابًا عن أسئلة وردت إليه من أحد علماء عصره، تتعلق بمسائل دقيقة في علم الجرح والتعديل ونقد الرواة. تتناول الرسالة موضوعات مثل مراتب ألفاظ الجرح والتعديل، واختلاف المحدثين في قبول رواية المبتدعة، وفي اشتراط عدد المزكي والجارح، مع أمثلة تطبيقية على بعض الرواة كابن إسحاق وشبابة بن سوار. وتتميز الرسالة، رغم صغر حجمها، باحتوائها على فوائد جليلة وإجابات مؤصلة تعين المشتغلين بعلوم الحديث.
Translation
This book is a scientific treatise by Imam al-Hafiz Abd al-Azim al-Mundhiri, which he wrote in response to questions he received from one of the scholars of his time, relating to precise issues in the science of jarh, modification, and criticism of narrators. The thesis addresses topics such as the levels of jarh and ta’dil words, and the differences of hadith scholars in accepting the innovator’s narration, and in stipulating the number of the purifier and the jarh, with applied examples on some narrators such as Ibn Ishaq and Shababah ibn Siwar. The message, despite its small size, is distinguished by its great benefits and original answers that will help those working in the sciences of hadith.
