Translation
A book on the sciences of hadith, examining the science of analysis and modification that arose to preserve the Sunnah of the Prophet and distinguish authentic narrations from invalid ones. The author explains the importance of the Sunnah as a second source of legislation, and reviews the rulings on wounding and justice, and the position of scholars towards narrators, while explaining the reasons for not wounding the Companions, the command to wound the weak, and the warning against lying to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
