هذا كتاب في علوم الحديث، جمعه المؤلف أبو القاسم الإسعردي لبيان فضائل "الجامع" للإمام أبي عيسى الترمذي. يذكر الكتاب مكانة هذا الجامع بين كتب الحديث الخمسة المتلقاة بالقبول، ويتناول وصف منهج الترمذي فيه من حيث اشتماله على فقه الحديث وعلله وبيان أحوال الرواة. كما يتضمن الكتاب ذكر أحوال رواة الجامع وطرق روايته، مع تخصيص أقسام للرواة عن شيوخ معينين كالجراحي والكروخي.
Translation
This is a book on the sciences of hadith, compiled by the author Abu al-Qasim al-Isaradi to explain the virtues of “Al-Jami’” by Imam Abu Issa al-Tirmidhi. The book mentions the position of this compilation among the five books of hadith that have received acceptance, and describes Al-Tirmidhi’s approach to it in terms of its inclusion of the jurisprudence of hadith, its reasons, and an explanation of the conditions of the narrators. The book also includes a mention of the circumstances of the narrators of Al-Jami’ and the methods of narrating it, while allocating sections to narrators from specific sheikhs such as Al-Jarahi and Al-Karukhi.
