كتاب "الفرائد الحسان في عد آي القرآن" لعبد الفتاح القاضي هو منظومة شعرية في علم عد الآي، وهو أحد فروع علوم القرآن التي تختص ببيان عدد آيات كل سورة وفقًا للمذاهب المختلفة للقراء. يشرح الكتاب الخلاف بين علماء العدد في الآي، كالمكي والمدني والكوفي والبصري والشامي، معتمدًا على النظم لتسهيل الحفظ والضبط. يبدأ المؤلف بسورة الفاتحة ثم يتتابع في ذكر السور، مبيّنًا لكل سورة ما اتفق عليه القراء أو اختلفوا فيه من عدّ الآيات.
Translation
The book “Al-Fara’id Al-Hassan fi Counting Verses of the Qur’an” by Abdel Fattah Al-Qadi is a poetic collection of verse counting, and it is one of the branches of Qur’anic sciences that specializes in explaining the number of verses of each surah according to the different sects of readers. The book explains the disagreement among numerology scholars regarding the verse, such as the Meccan, the Medinan, the Kufi, the Basri, and the Levant, relying on systems to facilitate memorization and control. The author begins with Surah Al-Fatihah and then continues to mention the surahs, explaining for each surah what the readers agreed upon or disagreed about regarding the number of verses.
