هذا كتاب في علوم القرآن لمؤلفه محمود شكري الألوسي، يتناول بالبحث والاستدلال ما ورد في القرآن الكريم من آيات تشير إلى قواعد الهيئة الجديدة، كحركة الأرض ودورانها حول الشمس، وكونها أحد الكواكب السيارة. يستعرض المؤلف الآيات القرآنية حسب ترتيب السور، مبينًا موافقتها للعقل الصريح والنقل الصحيح، ومؤكدًا أن الشريعة لم تتعرض لاستيعاب قواعد العلوم الرياضية بقدر ما أشارت إليها ضمن مقاصدها العليا.
Translation
This is a book on the sciences of the Qur’an by its author, Mahmoud Shukri Al-Alusi. It deals with research and reasoning with verses mentioned in the Holy Qur’an that refer to the rules of the new structure, such as the movement of the Earth and its rotation around the sun, and its being one of the moving planets. The author reviews the Qur’anic verses in the order of the surahs, showing their agreement with clear reason and correct transmission, and stressing that the Sharia did not attempt to comprehend the rules of mathematical sciences as much as it referred to them among its higher purposes.
