In his book “Four Rules upon which Rulings Revolve, followed by a Brief,” Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab presents a presentation of four basic jurisprudential rules, aiming to clarify the principles of Sharia rulings. He begins with the rule of prohibiting speaking against God without knowledge, citing Qur’anic verses as evidence. Then he moves to the second rule, which relates to what the street was silent about, considering this an amnesty that no one has the right to prohibit or require. The third rule relates to leaving out evidence, focusing on the importance that the author attaches to understanding these rules in the context of jurisprudential principles.
